Brian was hit by a car at the age of 8 but luckily escaped unharmed.

In August 2006 Placebo Won the 'Classic Songwriter' award at the Kerrang Awards.

In the past Brian modelled for Gucci & Calvin Klein, The photos however were never used.

During a gig in 2001 at San Remo Brian wrecked the stage after performing ‘Special K’

At the Kerrang awards 2002 at the end of the ceremony Brian tipped a table and caused £5000 worth of damage.

In 2002 Brian opened a medical themed fetish club at the Camden Underworld. It only lasted for two nights in total.

In 2002 Brian worked with Trash Palace on two songs ‘The Metric System’ & a cover of Eurosleazes ‘Je T’aime Moi Non Plus’ with Asia Argento.

On March 15th 2003 Placebo appeared on Re:covered. A UK TV series where bands perform one of their own songs and a cover song. Placebo played The Bitter End and Where Is My Mind. The show was aired in May 2003.

Brian has a toilet seat made from a real guitar that Graham Norton gave to him.

In 2003 Placebo played 3 shows in 24 hrs playing the Pinkpop festival at 5:10 in the afternoon, drove to Germany to play at the Rock AM Ring festival at 1:10am and the Rock IM Ring later that day. This was because Linkin Park
Cancelled at short notice and Placebo were asked to replace them.

In 2007 Placebo signed up to the 'Global Cool' campaign to raise awareness of global warming.

Placebo have played with The Cure on many occasions including Placebo's gig at Wembley Arena on November 5th 2004.

Placebo own their own record labels 'Elevator' and ‘dream brother’
